1991 (3rd WDC) Ayrton Senna, 1:1 full size helmet, hand painted by SiD Special Paint
Sid Mosca is probably most associated with Ayrton Senna. Sid painted all of Ayrton's helmets and official replicas, working with the Senna Foundation, a craft carried on today at the SID Paint Shop by his son Alan (Sid Jr) and grand-daughter Stella.
This full size helmet replicates Ayrton's 1991 and 3rd Formula 1 World Championship lid, with McLaren switching to V12 engines, Ayrton again starting emphatically, winning the USGP, his home Grand Prix in Brazil, Imola, Monaco, Hungary, Belgium and Australia, but he was Champion again by the time the circus left Japan.
Every Ayrton Senna relica helmet is made to order and takes 10-12 weeks, with each hand painted helmet produced in Brazil at the original SID Special Paint works by Alan (Sid Jr) and comes with an official Certificate of Authenticity and display case.
