Ferrari 156 'Sharknose' signed Phil Hill
The Ferrari 156 was a racing car made by Ferrari in 1961, Phil Hill won the World Championship and Ferrari secured the 1961 International Cup for F1 Manufacturers, both victories achieved with the 156. Incredibly no original 156 survive, Ferrari reused engines and parts in future cars and the Championship winning race cars disappeared.
This excellent 1/18 by CMR recreates the 156 that Phil Hill used to try and chase down Stirling Moss at the 1961 Monaco Grand Prix, after the race Phil was quoted "It was like trying to catch a greyhound, with a race horse, in your living room" such was the agility of the Lotus 18 and the pace of the 'Sharknose'.
Presented cased, with a hand signed plaque from the last signing by Phil Hill, with COA.
