Marlboro Promotional Jacket, signed Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost
Beautifully preserved Marlboro World Champion Team Promotional Jacket from 1988/89, hand signed by Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost.
Senna joined Prost at McLaren in 1988 and the two had a series of controversial clashes, including a collision at the 1989 Japanese Grand Prix that gave Prost his third Drivers' Championship. Marlboro were the main team sponsor and produced a range of promotional merchandise that was sold at every race and through magazine advertising and event promotions.
This jacket, produced by Visual Marketing for Marlboro is XL size and has been very carefully stored since being signed, both signatures in black are well preserved as is the jacket, which has never been worn.
