‘To all of the people who helped make this period of racing so special’. Thus reads photographer Dave Friedman’s dedication to a work of art guaranteed to delight all true enthusiasts. The concept is devastatingly simple. Friedman has selected 414 of his classic black and white photographs of motorsport in some of the greatest eras: Formula One (1960 to 1972); Sportscars (1958 to 1973); Trans Am and Stock Cars (1962 to 1972); and Championship [Indy] Cars (1961 to 1969). The images are brilliant.
